John Lanier Ministries

Wow! Who would've ever dreamed I'd be the host of my own TV talk show? Well, actually, it's been a dream of mine for quite some time. God's promises are true and, ever since I was very young, God has proven His Word over and over again. Dreams do become reality, and our Heavenly Father does indeed give us the desires of our hearts!

Since the age of eight, all I wanted to do was travel the world singing gospel music. God gave me the desires of my heart not long after graduating from high school. I've been singing for more than eighteen years now.

When I was a child, my best friend and I would get out our records and play like we were radio deejays, hosting our own radio show. That was a lot of fun and I decided I was going to be a real deejay when I grew up. I ended up working at the largest FM Christian radio station in Georgia for nearly four years before beginning my career as a singer. God gave me the childhood desires of my heart.

While in high school, I took journalism classes and was a member of the school newspaper staff. I enjoyed the whole creative process involved in producing the school paper and always looked forward to seeing the final product after it was printed. From then on I thought I'd like to be a journalist, a reporter, or maybe even have my very own magazine! In 2006, that dream was realized when The Christian Voice Magazine was created. Again, God gave me the desires of my heart.

Ever since I even learned how to turn the dial on a television I wanted be on TV. It's been a dream of mine for many years to host a Christian talk show featuring guests whose lives are a testimony of God's grace and goodness, and plenty of gospel music! That dream is becoming a reality and once again God is giving me the desires of my heart.

My new talk show premiered February 7th. With plenty of laughs, spiritual refreshing and music to appeal to all ages, The John Lanier Show features a variety of local and nationally known speakers, musicians, authors, comedians and singers. It’s
a lot of fun, and I am deeply grateful for this new opportunity. As an outreach of John Lanier Ministries, this TV show is another vehicle for presenting the gospel and showing the world the joy in serving Jesus!

What is truly amazing to me is that before the first show even aired, we were already being approached by numerous networks, interested in carrying the show. Only God knows how far and wide this thing may go!

I cannot thank you enough for the prayers and support of this ministry. I honestly do not deserve all the wonderful opportunities God has blessed me with. But I am beginning to believe that our Heavenly Father likes to spoil His children. Is there such a thing as being TOO blessed?

Whoever you are....wherever you are...keep dreaming, keep believing! Nothing is impossible to God. 2008 is YOUR year of new beginnings. God WILL give you the desires of your heart IF your utmost desire is for Him first! Remember the scripture....Seek first the kingdom of God and HIS righteousness, and all these things SHALL BE added unto you!

3/20   Perhaps best known as a regular cast member of the hit TV show "Hee Haw", comedienne and Christian recording artist LuLu Roman shares her life story - from an orphanage to TV fame, drug addiction, and ultimately to Jesus Christ. LuLu also performs songs from her latest recordings.

3/27   *Special encore presentation: The premier of the John Lanier Show - John is reunited with former singing companions Tony Gore and Calvin Thornton. The trio reminisces about their early days in gospel music and performs a few of the hits they made popular as the original Tony Gore & Majesty. (Originally aired 2/7/08)
